Why is my projector not recognizing my computer? Error says: "No Input Detected".

Try reseating (unplug and replug) the VGA cable that goes from your computer to the projector or wall jack. It will likely be connected to your computer via the "dongle" on the back of your computer. Unplug and replug on both ends (computer end and at the wall jack). If your computer goes through your Document Camera be sure that the Doc Cam is powered on and the small toggle switch on the side of the Doc Cam or button on the top is set to PC or Computer.

Restart your computer.

After restarting (if necessary), use your projector remote to scan for input sources.

If you are still not seeing an image, on your computer go to the Apple Menu in the upper left corner of your screen, select System Preferences -> Displays. Click on the Detect Displays button.

If you are still unable to see any image, please open a Web Help Desk work order ticket or call Tech Support at x6688.

When I turn on my projector and look at my screen / Activboard it shows my desktop background only, but no icons.

Note: If you have connected a USB hub to your computer, do not plug the USB cable from your whiteboard into the hub. The whiteboard must be connected directly into a USB port on your computer to connect successfully.
