My Windows PC is completely frozen, and ctrl+alt+del isn’t working.
If ctrl+alt+del isn't working to access the Task Manager, click on the windows icon in the lower left corner of the task bar. In the search field just above the windows icon, type taskmgr and hit Enter (if the computer is frozen and you can't click on the Start button, right-click on an empty spot in the Taskbar and then choose "Task Manager" from the pop up context menu). The Task Manager will open and allow you to select the frozen program and then click on End Task to release your computer.
If you can't access the Task Manger to End Task using the steps above, press and hold down the power button on the CPU tower for 10 seconds until it shuts off.
Wait 10 seconds and turn the power back on (you don't have to hold the power button in this time).
If the steps above don't work, please submit a Web Help Desk work order ticket.
