How can I turn off Bluetooth on my Mac?

Unless you are using a Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth setting should be left off. Here’s how to turn off Bluetooth discovery on your Macintosh staff computer.

In the upper right corner of your screen in the Menu Bar, click on the Bluetooth icon.
Uncheck Discoverable.
