In Firefox, I am getting a Download Error when trying to download a document or print a report card.
If you get an error (like the one below) that says "Could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred" here are the steps to fix it.
In the Firefox Menu Bar, click on Bookmarks -> Show all bookmarks.
Click on the button with the star and arrow and select Backup (see below).
Save the file to your Desktop.
Close out of Firefox.
Then navigate to Macintosh HD -> Users ->[your_username]-> Library -> Application Support . Delete the folder called Firefox.
Relaunch the Firefox program.
In the next window, select Don't import anything and click Continue.
In the Firefox Menu Bar, click on Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks.
Click on the button with the star and arrow and select Restore -> Choose File.
Highlight the bookmark file that ends with .json and click Open.
Click OK to the Revert Bookmarks alert.
You will also need to reset your home page. In the Firefox Menu Bar, click on Firefox -> Preferences.
On the General Tab, change the web address to whatever website you would like as your default page (example: www.nsd.org).
Close out of the Preferences window and you're ready to go.
