My iPad won’t turn on.

- Hold down both the Home button and the Sleep button at the same time for several seconds. When you see the Apple logo appear on the black screen let go of both buttons. Your iPad should boot up in a few seconds.
- If the iPad does not boot after a few seconds, the battery may be completely drained. Charge the iPad with the provided cable and charger for at least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, try Step 1 above again.
- If the iPad was in a hot car or other area with extreme temperature conditions (like being too hot) it won't boot. Place your device in a cool or room temperature area for a few hours. Then try Step 1 above again.
