What happened to the DRAFT email I created in Outlook?

As soon as you click on + New Message and type anything at all into your new message (e.g. an email address in the To or CC field, a subject, or content in the message field) a draft copy of your message will be created in your Drafts folder, and it will be continually updated as you type your message. There’s no action required on your part to save your message. An updated draft will be available in your drafts folder until the message is sent. If you choose not to send the message and would like to delete the copy from your Drafts folder, simply the select it in the Drafts folder and then click on the trash can icon to move the draft to the trash.
