I’m leaving the district. How do I export email addresses from my address book/contacts list in Outlook to import to a non-district computer?

You can easily export your contacts from Outlook in a .csv file.

  1. Open the People application within Outlook by clicking on the icon

  1. Now click on Manage in the top menu bar and select Export contacts from the drop-down menu.

  1. To have all of your contacts available for transfer to another computer, select All contacts and Export.

  1. A .csv file named “contacts.csv” should now appear in your computer’s downloads folder.

  2. You can now open the file in Excel if you like where you can delete any of the contacts that you don’t want to keep before saving it once again in a .csv format. You can then transfer the file to another computer, or import it into another email client.
