Troubleshooting Apple ID issues
About Apple ID's
An "Apple ID" is an account used to log in to various Apple products and services including the iPad and iPhone App Store. The Apple ID is named according to the email address used to create the Apple ID. In the Northshore School District, all staff members who have been issued an iPad should have created a new Apple ID using their email@example.com email address when they received their iPad.
Creating an Apple ID
If you don't have a district Apple ID, please see this article on how to create an Apple ID without a payment method. Please use your district firstname.lastname@example.org email address when creating the account. Start by going to the App Store and searching for a free app like Google Drive. Then choose "Get" and "Create New Account." Fill out the required fields and follow the prompts. For payment method, choose "None." For address, you can use your school's address. You will need to verify your Apple ID either via email or text message. Once you verify your Apple ID, you can use it to download apps and accept the VPP invitation to receive assigned paid apps.
