How do I save email to take with me when I leave the District?
Per Human Resources, District staff are not allowed to take their email messages with them when they end their employment with the District. Emails with student information would violate FERPA requirements. Others might also contain privileged information to which a person is no longer entitled once they stop working for the District.
Staff can forward any personal emails in their District account to their own personal email account if they want to retain them after their employment with the District ends.
