How do I change between Message and Conversation view in Outlook Web Access?

Email is often displayed as individual messages or in threaded conversations. When a user displays their emails as messages, each individual email will appear in given folder. If conversation view is chosen, messages with the same subject are threaded together and appear as entries on a single conversation. The choice between one view type or the other often comes down to personal preference.

In Outlook Web Access, a user can manipulate how messages are shown on a folder-by-folder basis. There is no global selection. 

  1. Navigate to the folder whose view you would like to change.
  2. Select arrow next to Filter.
  3. Hover over the Show As.
  4. Select Messages or Conversations.
  5. Repeat these steps in other folders as needed.
