What should I do if my document camera isn’t working properly?
If there is no projection on the screen:
The camera needs to be set for the appropriate channel in accordance with the cable used. Some cameras have a switch on the side that switches between TV and RGB, so it should be set appropriately. Other cameras have a button labeled TV/VGA, so only one LED on the camera base will light with orange for s-video/video channels and green for RGB. To display to the projector, the switch needs to be set to RGB or the light should be green, depending on the document camera model.
If the camera loses color, check to make sure camera is set to color mode. Then check cable connectors on the wall plate and on the camera to be sure there are no bent pins.

The Technology Department will send a technician to your room to inspect the document camera.
