How do I add a webpage to my bookmarks toolbar in Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari?


Bookmarks toolbar gives you quick access to often-used bookmarks. 

Firefox

Show or hide the Bookmarks toolbar

  1. The Bookmarks toolbar is hidden by default. To turn it on or back off:

          Click View from the Firefox Menubar and choose Toolbars then select Bookmarks Toolbar

         

 

Add bookmarks to the Bookmarks toolbar

  1. Go to the page you want to add to the Bookmarks toolbar. 

          Example:  Synergy Page:  https://sis.nsd.org/ 

         

 

       2.  In the Location bar, click the site icon and drag it onto the Bookmarks toolbar.

        

     

Google Chrome

Show or hide the Bookmarks toolbar

  1. The Bookmarks toolbar is hidden by default. To turn it on or back off:

          Click View from the Chrome Menubar and choose "Always Show Bookmarks Bar"

       

     2.  In the Location bar, click the site icon and drag it onto the Bookmarks toolbar.

     

Safari

Show or hide the Bookmarks toolbar

  1. The Bookmarks toolbar is hidden by default. To turn it on or back off:

          Click View from the Safari Menubar and choose "Show Favorites Bar"

      

     2.  In the Location bar, click the site icon and drag it onto the Bookmarks toolbar.
