District Substitute Employee Information

Welcome to the Northshore School District!  All NSD substitutes are provided a district account (NSDNet account) to allow for smoother communication and sharing of resources between NSD substitutes and staff. As a reminder, all substitutes are expected to follow the NSD Responsible Use Procedure (RUP) (SB2022P).  Here are a few key points to remember when utilizing your account:

How do I get my sub email account login information?
Your account information will be emailed to your personal email address that you have provided to the substitute office. You will have a NSDNet username and password for you to log in to district devices and  district email. You will need to change your temporary password by navigating to password.nsd.org.

What access comes with this account?
The district account provided to you includes email, an NSD Google Apps account, and the ability to override the District web filter to access content necessary for your work in the District.  

How do I access my email account?
You can access your email from any browser. Navigate to  https://mail.nsd.org/, login using your NSD Net username and password.

How long will my account be active?
Your account is active for as long as you are an active substitute in the District. When your account in Aesop is disabled, your District account will be disabled as well. You should not expect the contents of your account (emails or Google Drive files) to be preserved if your account is disabled so be sure to copy off anything you need at the end of each school year.
